About Michael

Was born in October 1963 in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and then went on to attend graduate school in Baltimore and graduated from Thomas Cooley Law School in 1990. Mike entered law school with the desire to be a criminal defense attorney and he tailored his education and professional experience to work with the best criminal defense minds in the business.

Michael Steinberg is an experienced Detroit Metro area defense attorney with offices in Oakland County (Royal Oak) and Macomb County (Mount Clemens), Michigan, Mike specializes in cases involving rape, murder, assault and battery, theft, and drug and alcohol offenses. He provides advanced training to practicing attorneys and mentoring for lawyers new to the practice, and he has conducted numerous seminars for criminal defense attorneys. In addition, Mike teaches advanced trial skills which helps to get the client story told.

Michael has intimate knowledge of Michigan laws designed to protect your rights, and he has successfully won hundreds of cases for his clients.
